We provide pre-travel advice and all types of vaccinations for any area of the world as part of the Travel Clinics of America family. Dr. Mullins is the Travel Medicine Specialist for patients seeking pre-travel advice and vaccinations.

If you are traveling outside of the United States you should schedule a pre-travel office visit. Dr. Mullins will use this time to discuss and administer the vaccinations you will need and to provide advice about how to minimize your travel-related risks. Since some vaccinations require a series of injections given over a period of one month or longer, your pre-travel visit should ideally be scheduled 4-8 weeks before your departure date.

Travel Clinics of America(TCA) is NOT contracted with health insurance companies. Therefore, full payment is expected at the time of your visit with a credit card. We will provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company after the visit, however, Dr. Mullins and TCA will be OUT OF NETWORK providers. You should also know that most health insurance companies DO NOT provide coverage for travel related services. Your pre-travel consultation is a separate visit and cannot be combined with any other office visit.

The following vaccines can be administered:

Yellow Fever (not valid until 11 days after injection)
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Rabies
Japanese Encephalitis
Meningitis (Menactra)
Typhoid (injectable)
Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Tdap)
Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)
Polio

Prescriptions appropriate for your itinerary can also be prescribed including medications for:

Malaria Prevention
Motion Sickness
Traveler's Diarrhea
Jet Lag
