Answer: WebView is a program that Kachina Family Practice purchased. It works with our electronic medical record to give you secure, password protected access to your chart and doctor.

Question: HOW WOULD WEBVIEW BENEFIT ME OR MY FAMILY?

Answer: WebView is valuable in multiple ways:

Better Communication: WebView is a safe, convenient, and efficient way to communicate directly with your doctor, unlike going through our office staff and waiting for return phone calls from our staff.
Better Involvement in Your Healthcare: We want you to have access to your medical records and be actively involved in the doctor-patient relationship. We want you to know your diagnoses, understand our recommendations and know when you are to follow up.
Easy access to health information such as medication list, vaccination records, lab results, radiology reports, vital signs records.
Online appointment scheduling.

Question: HOW IS WEBVIEW COMMUNICATION DIFFERENT THAN REGULAR EMAIL?

Answer: Unlike email, all communication with your doctor using WebView is recorded in your medical chart. WebView communication is also much more secure than traditional email.

Question: WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS SERVICE?

Answer: WebView is an optional service. There are several expenses Kachina Family Practice has incurred in order to offer you this valuable service including software, hardware (new server), security licenses, tech support, and annual fees.

Question: CAN I READ MY FAMILY MEMBER'S CHART?

Answer: WebView is confidential. Each family member age 14 years and older must have their own username and password. Sharing of patient information is at the discretion of each patient.
